Hiring a Bail Bondsman

Hiring a Bail Bondsman

By Marc J. Victor, Esq

Should you hire a bail bondsman? This could be a difficult decision. If you are facing a choice between hiring a bail bondsman or hiring a lawyer, let me explain why I think you should hire the lawyer, instead of the bail bondsman, if you can’t afford to hire both.

First of all, an attorney may be able to get your loved one out of jail without any bond at all. Normally, you are entitled to a review of release conditions. A lawyer may be able to get the release conditions changed so there is no bond at all or if that’s not possible, maybe they can get the bond lowered. Getting the client out of jail is the first duty of the attorney in any criminal case. But then what?

You have to be able to deal with the criminal case after. Just getting your loved one out of jail without an attorney could mean your loved one could go right back to jail. By hiring an attorney instead, the attorney can begin working on the case right away. Getting out of jail is only the first step, staying out of jail is the goal. This is why it just makes sense to hire the attorney if you are left with deciding between the attorney or the bail bondsman.

I realize there are many law firms competing for the privilege of representing you in your legal matter. I also realize you have a difficult decision in determining which law firm would best serve your interests. Therefore, I have worked hard for the past 23 years to distinguish my law firm from the others; and to build my reputation as an aggressive advocate for my clients who offer honest and well-reasoned legal advice. While you browse our website, you will quickly get a feel for what we call our “Commitment to Excellence.” The entire legal team at Marc J. Victor P.C. is committed to excellence; it’s what I demand from anyone who works for my firm. We promise to represent you in your case the same way we would want to be represented ourselves.

5 stars just isnt enough for Andrew Marcantel, Marc Victor, and the entire staff here. When my... boyfriend was wrongly accused of a totally vile crime, neither of us had any experience navigating the "just-us" system. If you've faced potentially life-altering accusations, and you feel like the system is set up to empower police, prosecutors, judges, and pretty much everyone except you, then you're right! If you want to level the playing feild, Attorneys for Freedom will accomplish that. Some others have commented about the price. Good representation does cost money, unfortunately. What is a persons future worth?Compared to the competition, which is also expensive, the value you will get at this law firm is just unbelievable. Andrew especially is so great at walking you through possible scenerios, guiding you through important decisions, and has the experience to truly get good results. Extremely knowledgeable and creative not just "aggressive". He is also an excellent communicator, both in the office and in the court.Speaking of communication, the paralegal team at even some more expensive law firms will leave you wondering what it is they are paid to do. This is not the case at Attorneys for Freedom. Ashley Crispino and Kaylie Kline did an amazing job at both keeping us in the loop and being available when needed.Reading "Case Dismissed" after what felt like an eternity of fighting was the best outcome we could have ever asked for.I told my Aunt who was very worried about us at the height of all the absurdity that I felt like having Andy on our side was better than prayer. And I was right.read more

This is my first time ever needing an attorney and my attorney was Kate and she did an amazing job... with my case! Kate took time to go through all of the evidence so she understood everything before going to court. Kate assistant Madalyn was also super helpful and very sweet! Anytime I called she was very understanding and helped me walk through the process when I did not understand something and always had an upbeat positive attitude! If I ever need an attorney again I will definitely being going back to Kate!read more
