Chandler Bad Faith Insurance Claims Lawyers

Arizona law states that insurance carriers must handle each claim fairly and be reasonable. If an insured submits a claim and they do not receive the coverage that they paid good money for, they might have an Arizona bad faith insurance claim. Insurance companies owe a duty of good faith to their clients. This means they will act in good faith and pay to pay legitimate claims promptly, in full, and treat the insured party fairly. When an insurer fails to act in good faith, the insured may have a bad faith claim against the insurer.

The courts will consider the reasonableness of the insurance company to determine if they acted in bad faith or not. Below are a few examples where the Arizona court has found unreasonable:

  • The insurance company denies a claim without a reasonable investigation.
  • The insurance company attempts to coerce the insured party into a settlement by delaying payment.
  • The insurance company delays the claim for an unreasonable amount of time.
  • The insurance company attempts to use a part of the policy that has previously been ruled invalid.
  • The insurance company fails to inform the insured of the duty to submit appropriate forms.
  • The company delays paying part of the claim that is undisputed to try to get a disputed portion of the claim settled.

Insurance companies would like to pay as little as possible to settle claims and they have people who’s job it is to get people to take low-ball settlements. In a perfect world no one should have to file a bad faith claim. Insurance companies should honor all legitimate claims in a timely and fair manner, and most do. But when an insurance company fails to meet their good faith commitment to their clients hiring an experienced good faith claim attorney may be the only way to force them to honor the claim.

I have been meaning to write this review for some time now. (Sorry for the delay Marc) I am a newer member of AOR and thankfully haven't had to use any of the services that come along with being a member. I do want to speak to the exceptional customer service I have received both before signing up and after. I think I watched several hours of YouTube videos on all the major plans available and commented on many, including AOR videos to which Marc replied. I know I emailed the firm with general questions multiple times and spoke to members of the firm twice before even signing up. Never once did I feel like they weren't available to answer questions. After signing up I was planning a vacation and reached out the the local sheriff's office about carrying in that state/city. I wasn't given much information at all, so... I reached out to AOR. Marc replied and gave me some general advice and then forwarded my email to a couple of associates at the firm Moises Morales and Pierre B Whyte, the two prepared a thoughtful email with great advice for protecting myself while on vacation. This is the type of service that, in my opinion makes Attorneys for Freedom and the AOR program different.

Feels good to switch from an insurance company to an actual lawyers firm that feels as strongly as I do about the Second Amendment and the right to carry.
