Live and Let Live: The World’s Only Real Peace Movement
- The Live and Let Live Principle is violated when any person or group initiates force, fraud, or coercion against another person or their property;
- The Live and Let Live Principle is also violated when any person or group engages in conduct that creates a substantial threat or risk of harm to another person or their property;
- The Live and Let Live Principle applies equally to all people, groups, organizations, corporations, and governments;
- It should always be illegal for any person, group, organization, corporation, or government to violate the Live and Let Live Principle;
- Competent adults own themselves. They also own all their peacefully acquired money, property, and time. As owners, they are entitled to make decisions over these items to the exclusion of all others;
- I recognize people hold different views on morality. So long as the conduct of other competent and consenting adults does not violate the Live and Let Live Principle, the conduct should be legal even if it violates my personal moral views;
- I agree to live my life in accordance with the Live and Let Live Principle;
- I support the aspirational values of justice, tolerance, open mindedness, voluntary kindness, rational thought, honesty, civility, building high levels of trust with others, and a commitment to pursuing truth. I oppose forcing these values on others through the law;
- I support the overall goals of the Live and Let Live Movement to bring about a free, peaceful and prosperous world while justly increasing human happiness and decreasing human suffering; and
- I recognize that for me to live in freedom and peace, I must legally tolerate the equal rights of others to peacefully use their bodies, money, property, and time in ways I personally believe are unwise, unhealthy, offensive, or immoral so long as the Live and Let Live Principle is not violated.
