HOW TO INTERACT WITH THE POLICE

How to Interact with the police; what you are required to do and tips for surviving a traffic stop.  Being pulled over by a police officer can be a stressful experience. Although life is full of such experiences, unlike many other stressful experiences, a traffic stop has the potential to end in a loss of money, liberty or even life. On October 6th The Law Firm of Marc J. Victor P.C. and Arizona State University will be hosting another CLE and forum: How to Interact with the police; what you are required to do and tips for surviving a traffic stop.

Attorney Marc J. Victor will be discussing how to interact with police for both the citizen and the lawyer. His seminar will cover the laws governing police stops, what officers and can’t do without a warrant, and what individual citizen’s responsibilities are while interacting with police. He will also cover what lawyer’s need to know about analyzing police stops for their clients. How to advise clients while still keeping a working relationship with police officers, and how to ensure that both the citizens and the police are abiding by the laws. 

Marc has also assembled a panel of law enforcement, community members, and the legal experts to discuss the issues facing role of police in society. Focusing on the current relationships between police and the community at large. 

This will be an informative afternoon that will teach and promote understanding in the changing environment that is law enforcement.
