Honolulu Federal Criminal Defense Attorney

If you have been charged with a crime, there are many criminal defense attorneys to choose from. But, if you are facing federal charges, your choices will be limited. That’s because not all criminal defense attorneys are licensed in federal court.

Federal crimes are offenses that are in violation of federal laws. In practice, federal interest is very broadly defined and can include almost any crime. These cases will be tried in Federal Court and prosecuted by US attorneys and presided over by federal judges. These cases may fall under federal jurisdiction because the crime that was alleged crossed state lines. Federal crimes can carry penalties that are far more severe than those in state courts.

The evidentiary rules, criminal procedures, and sentencing guidelines are completely different in the Federal System. If you have been charged with any federal offense it is very important that you make sure the attorney, you are consulting with is licensed and has experience handling federal criminal law matters. Federal offenses can either be felonies or misdemeanors depending on the severity of the crime and the degree of punishment that will be imposed by the government.

Federal conviction rates are over 90% for those who are prosecuted in Federal Court. For this reason, it is crucial that you hire an experienced federal criminal defense attorney to represent you if you have been charged with a federal crime. When your freedom is at stake, don’t trust it to an attorney who does not have experience in federal matters.

Federal crimes can include:

  • Counterfeiting
  • Bank Robbery
  • Immigration Violations
  • Computer Crimes
  • Drug Trafficking
  • Money Laundering
  • Organized Crime
  • White Collar Crimes

If you are under investigation for a federal offense, or you have been indicted in federal court, you need an experienced federal defense attorney to represent your case. I recently had a double bill of my wife's membership that I caught on my credit card bill. I called and spoke to Noslen in customer service, she was able to figure out that when my wife upgraded to the new AOR service that she was double billed and took care of the error right away. That was good enough for me to be happy with her service, but she called me back right away and asked if I had been double billed the month before when I upgraded my subscription. I thought I probably hadn't but she checked and found that I had, then started a refund for me also. It is great to do business with a company that hires good people and encourages them to walk the walk as Marc Victor would say. Thank you Noslen and AOR!

I recently had to deal with a legal situation, and I’m incredibly grateful to the team at the Attorneys for Freedom Law Firm for helping me through it. From start to finish, they were professional, supportive, and truly had my back.

I especially want to thank Joey Hamby, who took the lead on my case. Joey was sharp, down-to-earth, and always made sure I understood what was going on. He gave me real peace of mind during a stressful time, and I always felt like I was in good hands.

I also want to thank Tory Stewart for her work behind the scenes—her support made a real difference and didn’t go unnoticed.

If you’re ever in a situation where you need strong legal support from people who care, I can’t recommend the Attorneys for Freedom team enough. They really live up to their name.
