DUI/TRAFFIC – Attorney Marc J. Victor

YOUR GOAL AT A TRAFFIC STOP SHOULD BE TO SURVIVE IT!

The laws regarding DUI are complex and not well understood by most people.  In many cases, a person could be guilty of a DUI without being impaired at all.  Although most DUI cases involve alcohol, a DUI case can arise from the ingestion of any illegal drug, medical marijuana, prescription drugs, or even certain over the counter cold medicines or common sleeping pills.

Although most DUI cases are misdemeanors, DUI can also be charged as a felony carrying mandatory prison.  In all DUI cases, incarceration is required upon any conviction.  In addition, all DUI cases carry substantial mandatory fines, counseling, and driver’s license suspensions or revocations.  Understanding the various nuances of DUI cases can be one of your best tools to avoid a DUI conviction.

The DUI seminar is a free presentation covering many aspects of DUI law including common mistakes made by people when under investigation for a DUI.  You will learn how to avoid a DUI, what your rights are if under investigation for a DUI, and how best to defend against a DUI charge.

Attendees will have an opportunity to have their specific questions answered by an experienced criminal defense attorney.  Most people don’t understand how easy it is to be charged with a DUI offense.  Don’t be a victim of our DUI laws because you don’t understand the requirements of the law.  Come learn what you need to know in a relaxed, comfortable environment among friends.
