Chandler Transportation of Drugs for Sale Lawyer

ARS § 13-3408 – Transportation of Drugs for Sale is a class 2 felony in Arizona. A person shall not knowingly: Transport for sale, import into this state, offer to transport for sale or import into this state, sell, transfer, or offer to sell or transfer a narcotic drug. Except as provided in section 36-2850, paragraph 16, subdivision (b), section 36-2852 and section 36-2853, subsection C.

Being charged with Transportation of Drugs for Sale in Arizona is a serious crime. Most of these types of cases arise from a simple traffic stop. The officer may not have suspicion of a crime at the time of the stop, and simply be pulling the driver over for a traffic infraction, such as speeding or another violation. However, law enforcement officers are trained in drug interdiction and may be looking for signs of suspicious criminal activity during the traffic stop.

During a traffic stop, a law enforcement officer is looking for signs that a crime may have been committed. Many times, the officer will try to engage drivers in conversation. They will usually ask questions like:

  • Where are you going?
  • Where are you coming from?
  • Do you live around here?
  • Do you have drugs in the vehicle?

The officer will be looking for signs that you are nervous or have something to hide. You do not have to answer these questions and criminal defense attorneys will tell you not to answer these questions. You should never lie to a police officer, but you do not have to forward information and you should never consent to a search.

Penalties for a Transportation of Drugs for Sale conviction can be severe and will depend on the type and amount of the illegal drugs involved, as well as the individual’s prior criminal record. Because the stakes are high, it is crucial that you consult with a criminal defense attorney who has decades of experience with Transportation of Drugs for Sale cases.

I have been meaning to write this review for some time now. (Sorry for the delay Marc) I am a newer member of AOR and thankfully haven't had to use any of the services that come along with being a member. I do want to speak to the exceptional customer service I have received both before signing up and after. I think I watched several hours of YouTube videos on all the major plans available and commented on many, including AOR videos to which Marc replied. I know I emailed the firm with general questions multiple times and spoke to members of the firm twice before even signing up. Never once did I feel like they weren't available to answer questions. After signing up I was planning a vacation and reached out the the local sheriff's office about carrying in that state/city. I wasn't given much information at all, so... I reached out to AOR. Marc replied and gave me some general advice and then forwarded my email to a couple of associates at the firm Moises Morales and Pierre B Whyte, the two prepared a thoughtful email with great advice for protecting myself while on vacation. This is the type of service that, in my opinion makes Attorneys for Freedom and the AOR program different.

Feels good to switch from an insurance company to an actual lawyers firm that feels as strongly as I do about the Second Amendment and the right to carry.
