Chandler Sex Crimes Lawyers

Being charged with a sex crime in Chandler, AZ can have serious and grave repercussions. Sex offenses are generally investigated very aggressively and have severe penalties for those who are convicted. In addition, the stigma of being charged with a sex crime can leave life-long scars. It can affect your personal, business, and professional relationships, as well as affect your ability to find employment or rent a home.

A number of different offenses fall into the sex crimes category, but they generally involve illegal or coerced sexual conduct against another individual. People convicted of sex crimes, regardless of severity, are considered “sex offenders” and face having their names added to state and federal sex offender registries.

Common sex crimes can include, but are not limited to:

  • Child molestation
  • Internet sex crimes
  • Statutory rape
  • Rape
  • Sexual assault
  • Indecent exposure
  • Prostitution
  • Sexual exploitation of a minor

Many sex offense charges unjustly punish people who are merely accused, long before trial, by unfairly holding such people in custody without the possibility of bond. The person charged with such sex crimes is entitled to a hearing to challenge the validity of the “no bond” status. Despite the law’s guarantee of being “presumed innocent,” the person charged with a serious sex offense will not likely feel like they are “presumed innocent.”

Defending serious sex offense charges will often involve voluntarily submitting to a psycho sexual evaluation with a skilled and experienced psychologist. This long involved psychological testing will also likely involve a polygraph examination. The conclusions of a qualified psychologist writing a psycho sexual evaluation can be an important factor in defending serious sex-related charges.

It is common in a sex offense investigation for the investigating officer to stage a “confrontation call” for the purpose of enticing the person under suspicion to say something that could be construed as exculpatory. As such, a person under investigation for a sex offense should be aware of the possibility of a confrontation call. The right to remain silent ought to be employed at all times by anyone under investigation for any sex crime.

Because of the serious nature of sex crimes, it is important to contact a criminal defense attorney in Chandler, who has decades of experience defending people charged with sex crimes. An experienced sex crimes attorney who can build a strong defense.

Common sex crimes can include, but are not limited to:

  • Insufficient Evidence
  • Tainted Evidence
  • Illegal Search & Seizure of Evidence
  • Mistaken Identity
  • False Accusations
  • Consent
  • Mental Illness
  • Innocence

I have been meaning to write this review for some time now. (Sorry for the delay Marc) I am a newer member of AOR and thankfully haven't had to use any of the services that come along with being a member. I do want to speak to the exceptional customer service I have received both before signing up and after. I think I watched several hours of YouTube videos on all the major plans available and commented on many, including AOR videos to which Marc replied. I know I emailed the firm with general questions multiple times and spoke to members of the firm twice before even signing up. Never once did I feel like they weren't available to answer questions. After signing up I was planning a vacation and reached out the the local sheriff's office about carrying in that state/city. I wasn't given much information at all, so... I reached out to AOR. Marc replied and gave me some general advice and then forwarded my email to a couple of associates at the firm Moises Morales and Pierre B Whyte, the two prepared a thoughtful email with great advice for protecting myself while on vacation. This is the type of service that, in my opinion makes Attorneys for Freedom and the AOR program different.

Feels good to switch from an insurance company to an actual lawyers firm that feels as strongly as I do about the Second Amendment and the right to carry.
