About The Attorneys for Freedom Law Firm
Established in 1997, The Attorneys For Freedom Law Firm was founded on the principle of always having a genuine commitment to excellence. Our founder, Marc J. Victor, learned about being committed to excellence during his time serving in The United States Marine Corps. He has maintained that same commitment to excellence throughout every aspect of our law firm. We take pride in thinking outside the box to generate creative solutions to problems, and we always represent our clients the way we would want to be represented ourselves.
Since its founding, the law firm has always placed acting with the highest character and professionalism above profits. With an Arizona-based national practice entirely limited to defending clients in self-defense cases, we’ll always put your best interests first and work tirelessly to defend you.
The original law firm name was changed from Marc J. Victor P.C. to The Attorneys For Freedom in 2004 as the law firm grew to include other pro-freedom and pro-2A attorneys. All attorneys must sign a freedom pledge and be committed to promoting a free society to work at the law firm. We are “self-defense absolutists.” This means we recognize the absolute right of all people to defend themselves against all forms of aggression. This includes the right to keep and bear arms for self-defense or any other peaceful purpose.
We are an activist law firm committed to furthering the cause of liberty. As such, we are committed to accepting selected pro-bono cases that advance the cause of responsible firearms ownership or freedom generally. At any given time, our law firm likely is representing multiple clients at no cost to them in various cases that further some aspect of a free society.
The Live and Let Live Pledge
Live and Let Live is the world’s only real peace movement and is organized around a fundamental principle we call the Live and Let Live Principle. The Live and Let Live Principle generally holds that it is wrong to initiate force, fraud or coercion. In essence, the Principle prohibits aggression while recognizing the fundamental right of reasonable and responsible self-defense to defend against another’s use or substantial threat of an initiation of aggression.
All of our attorneys agree to the Live and Let Live Pledge and Statement of Principles.
Committed to Excellence
I realize there are many law firms competing for the privilege of representing you in your legal matter. I also realize you have a difficult decision in determining which law firm would best serve your interests. Therefore, I have worked hard for the past 27 years to distinguish my law firm from the others; and to build my reputation as an aggressive advocate for my clients who offers honest and well-reasoned legal advice. While you browse our website, you will quickly get a feel for what we call our “Commitment to Excellence.” Consequently, during the time I served in the United States Marine Corps, I learned to despise mediocrity.
I also learned what it meant to be absolutely committed to excellence. At my law firm, we apply those concepts to every representation we undertake. We take pride in thinking “outside the box” to generate creative solutions to problems. We represent people the way we would want to be represented ourselves. We relate to our clients on a human level rather than just as attorney and client. We strive to return all telephone calls and e-mails the same day they are received. We do everything we say we are going to do, in all cases and at all times.
In short, I have built my solid reputation on old fashioned and well-established principles. I am a Certified Specialist in Criminal Law who has tried many serious felony cases, including several 1st-degree murder trials. I have successfully represented thousands of clients in major felony matters, in both state and federal court throughout Arizona and in other states.
“The entire legal team at The Attorneys For Freedom Law Firm, is committed to excellence; it’s what I demand from anyone who works for my firm. We promise to represent you in your case the same way we would want to be represented ourselves.”
– President, Marc J. Victor, Esq.
